So I had American Idol on before House, just as background noise, as I often do. I happened to hear a commercial for House: "See why critics say this may be the best season of House yet." lololololololololol

froda_baggins and I each had a theory. Mine is that the critics are being rather highly paid to voice this opinion. Hers is that one critic really wanted to be quoted and got a friend to agree with him so 'critic' would become plural.

We're not hatin' on S4. Promise. Both of us are actually enjoying it. But ... best yet? lulz.

4.10 It's a Wonderful Lie

- I've got various muscles that do the twitchy thing the girl's were doing. Doesn't it look so freaky? It's even weirder when you're looking at it in person.
- haha Shit, I don't want a Kutner muse but there might be one forming.
- Truth as child abuse. Well... hahaha. Not quite! But how inappropriate is it for an 11-year-old to know her mom's sexual preferences? Srsly. I mean, unless she walked in one time and then asked ten bajillion questions instead of being like "LALALA DO NOT WANT TO KNOW" but, uh ... that wasn't the impression I got.
- "You are so full of ... love ... or something." hahaha Yeah. Like 'shit.' That House-and-Wilson conversation was great. Can't wait for the script for this one to go up.
- I don't like Foreman and I don't care for Taub, either, but put them together? WIN.
- Drawing names for Secret Santa -- Did everyone draw "House"? (Later: I WIN. I CALLED IT. I can't believe none of them saw it coming a thousand miles away. Cameron would have.)
- I have to say, I really hate House's take on honesty. It's one of the main things that keeps me from writing him. He just... I don't know. I can't make sense of it and keep it organized in my head. He really makes me want to hit him in the face sometimes.
- My dirty mind fails. At the mention of "Alpine butterfly" I thought "mountain climbing knot" first and didn't think of bondage at all until Taub mentioned it.
- "Woooooow, that is a creepy smile." Yes, it is! XD
- "Where are you going?" "Nowhere, I just know it hurts you." :: snicker :: I love it when Wilson gets to the point where he's an asshole back to House. House deserves it way more often than he gets it.
- THE HAT! :) "It's a moose. On a Jew." Really can't wait for this script to go up.
- "Milk?! Ew!" I agree, kid. That was one of the grossest things I've ever seen House do. hahaha
- I love Hugh Laurie's face. I say so a lot. I feel the need to say it again now, though. ♥

ahahaha Er. Well. Y'see, I've trained myself to rationalize every single tiny thing House says or does as an indirect admission of love or at least very strong like, otherwise my Wilson muse hates himself even more than he usually does. So, um ... which part are you talking about? XD

House says something about "We lie to the people we love (maybe "care about, but I think he said "love"). We tell them (something about the way they babble) and we tell them 'no, you're not losing your boyish good looks."

I need to watch all the House/Wilson scenes again. At times I was rendered deaf by the pretty and the sarcasm.

How did Wilson do the ear twitch with the hat? I didn't have my glasses on so all I saw was the ear moving... man, the expression on his face as he did it was hilarious, though.

But you know I have been wondering why these critics think S4 is the best season yet. I have to disagree. I was just reading today in the Chicago Sun-Times...he was comparing it to how it seems shows get better during S4 (ie X-Files and whatever other show he included)

I do think the show is improving this season. But only in comparison to where it went last season. Calling it better than S1 or S2 makes me LOL.

Dude, I called the House Secret Santa thing a mile away. I think Foreman did too, he just didn't mention it (he didn't even look at the name he drew). XD;;

Good point. I think I was thinking that if Foreman had known what was going on, he would've told the new kids because that would be assy and ruin House's little plan. But now that you mention it, it's even more assy to let them spend their money on House instead of for a legit Secret Santa exchange, so ... yeah. That fits my idea of Foreman. XD

This clinic side plot had me rotfloling. XD I was clearly not paying attention when House walked into the church at the end of the episode because I was thinking, "what the hell is he doing there?" Oh.... ohhhh... Oh my, another one of those fangirls (and boys) are going to die looks.... :D

Ewwww, that syringe thing was DISGUSTING.... I don't care if it was "milk" I don't want someone to squirt some sort of junk from someone else's tumour into my mouth.

Fun House/Wilson conversations make me HAPPEH. Actually I watched Games the other day and when they fight it makes me happeh too. So bascially I just love House/Wilson, as long as Wilson doesn't step into "this is what you're doing to yourself" mantra that he got into the last season particularly.
