Grammar/Spelling Poll

thewlisian_aferEvery day my local paper runs a little quiz that Daddy and I like to do together. The topics range WIDELY, so sometimes I get all of them, and other times there isn't even a single thing that I can guess at. (Daddy always gets at least SOMETHING right.)
Anyway, this is the quiz that ran in today's edition. Now, I'm not stupid, and I read and write A LOT, and Daddy's one of the most intelligent people I know. Between the two of us, we got exactly half of these right. I'd like to see how others do on it.
Please don't Google. Just put what you think is right. Cheating is not the answer. :D
Edited to add: In a couple of days, I'll do another post about the results, giving the correct answers. I promise, I won't leave you all hanging! ;)
Second ETA: If you look at the poll results and check to see who gave what answers, don't judge correctness based on mine. I put what Daddy and I said when we originally took the quiz, so half of them are wrong.
