And I love Mr Darcy, but he is not a charmer.

Yeah, actually. The only dudes on that list that I like are not true charmers. Ok, well. I do like James Bond, but the only one that manages to ooze charm like that for me is Connery. 006 oozes more charm in Goldeneye than Pierce Brosnan can even imagine.

Women love him, but I would really hesitate to call him a charmer. If you're trying to charm the pants off a woman, saying "she's tolerable, I suppose, but not handsome enough to tempt me" is not going to work.

Well, it might on some women. But I wouldn't call that "charming."
