That Avatar thing is seriously scary. I mean, I mostly feel pity, for someone being that delusional, but I lose a lot of sympathy for those who reject professional help out of hand.

What's worse is that some asshole out there will likely blame the writers of Avatar or James Cameron or something for these people's delusions. Ugh.

I had to do a presentation on tapeworms for my microbiology class a few semesters ago. For the "Scotch Tape Test" used for diagnosis purposes, I used a gummy worm, scotch tape, and my hand to demonstrate.

I've always found cannibalism horrifyingly fascinating. The psychology of modern cannibalism, as well as culturally acceptable cannibalism. It all just kind of blows my mind. I sort of would like to read Sagawa's autobiography... Out of that list, though, my "favorite" is Armin Meiwes because the guy he ate volunteered. That guy is the most interesting one on the page...

My clickies lists usually make my day, too. XD I star or bookmark links that I think might be interesting and I don't usually look at them closely until I'm coding the posts, so they're new to me just shortly before I share them with you lot. :D
